Learning Objectives

By completing this course, participants will be able to:

Assessment

Assessment is conducted through:

  • Written/oral knowledge assessments.
  • Practical demonstration of safe and effective water cart operation.
  • Observation of compliance with industry safety procedures.

Certification

Participants who successfully complete this unit will receive a:

  • Statement of Attainment for RIIMPO326E – Conduct Water Vehicle Operations.
    This is a nationally recognised qualification under the RII Resources and Infrastructure Industry Training Package.

Course Duration

  • Generally 2–3 days, depending on learner experience and site requirements.
  • Includes both theory and practical training followed by assessment.

Prerequisites

  • Must be at least 16 years of age (18 recommended for industry roles).
  • Basic English literacy and numeracy skills.
  • A current White Card (CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry).
  • Participants must supply and wear appropriate PPE (safety boots, high-visibility clothing, hard hat, gloves, eye protection).
